HONOR CODE:
A) Rocker U was created solely for the purpose of fan education, to aid people in planning trips to short track events, and to provide a fun environment for promoting the sport as a whole. The organizers of this website do not solicit nor do we accept compensation for our efforts. That being said, we have sometimes posted articles, pics, etc., without getting proper permission. We have, however, given proper credit whenever possible, and all requests to 'cease and desist' will be honored without question. However, we hope that those we have 'borrowed' from share our love for this sport enough to forgive us if we have stepped across any boundaries. Please know that our only goal is to get people excited about short track speedskating and to help the skaters themselves to gain new fan bases and achieve their dreams.
B) Some pictures posted here and at BB are from personal collections not generally visible to the public. I just want to make it clear that whenever Michelle or I use such photos, we have first asked permission of the photographer, those pictured (or both) before posting them here or at BB, and we will gladly honor all requests to remove ANY picture.
C) Can you 'borrow' from THIS website? Absolutely! If what we do here or at BB is noteworthy enough to be quoted elsewhere, we'd consider it a compliment! But we DO ask that you be mindful of 3 things:
- Carry over any credits we have given to OUR sources;
- Do NOT copy and repost photos that appear to be of a private, or 'candid' nature without first asking permission, just as we have done. If there's any doubt, Contact Us first.
